What is Godoj? Godoj is a speaking-first language learning app. Instead of flashcards, you hold a real spoken conversation with an AI tutor, and an AI model instantly analyzes what you said and shows you what to improve. The name comes from the Silesian word “godoj”, which means “speak”. Godoj offers 14 languages and 30 AI tutors, currently in open beta with limited seats. Don't study, just talk.

Why does learning by speaking work better than flashcards?
Flashcards and quizzes train word recognition, not active use. Fluency comes from producing language: building sentences out loud, in real time. In Godoj you speak from minute one, and every conversation ends with specific feedback, so you know exactly what to fix next time.
Will the AI tutor understand me if I'm a beginner with a strong accent?
Yes. The tutor adapts its pace and simplicity to your level (A1 to C2), patiently rephrases and helps when you get stuck. You don't have to speak correctly, you have to speak. Mistakes are feedback material, not something to be ashamed of.
What does the post-lesson feedback look like?
After every lesson, a second AI model analyzes the transcript of your conversation and prepares a summary: a fluency score, strengths, specific mistakes with corrected forms, new vocabulary and a level recommendation. It's feedback, not a grade or an exam.
What do the lessons talk about?
Every day you get a fresh topic matched to your level (weekend plans, travel, work), and from B1 you can also pick free conversation about anything you like. The tutor remembers the context of previous conversations, so lessons have continuity.
Can I change my tutor or level?
Yes, anytime. Every language has at least two tutors (a male and a female voice), and you can change your level manually in settings or accept the recommendation the AI gives after lessons.
