A lot: your ear is already tuned and you know plenty of phrases. Godoj turns that passive exposure into active speaking: the tutor picks up topics you know from the screen, and you start using them out loud.
Do I need to know hangul before my first conversation?
No, the conversation is spoken, so you can start talking right away. It's worth learning hangul in parallel (a matter of days) to read your lesson transcripts and vocabulary.
What level do I need to start?
Any level from zero to C2. At A1 the tutor speaks slowly in short, simple sentences, helps when you get stuck, and gradually builds up your answers. You can change your level anytime or follow the AI's recommendation after lessons.
